Kohler’s Suspended Faucet Provides Flexibility
The company’s new kitchen faucet offering is touchless and controlled with a wave of the hand.
Kohler has debuted the Purist Suspend kitchen faucet, a ceiling-mounted unit with wireless operation. The faucet pairs with a freestanding, water-resistant puck, which runs on a rechargeable battery. The puck features an intuitive interface and can also be used while charging.
A waved hand turns Purist Suspend on and off, while the auto-off feature stops the water flow if left running for two minutes. Users can adjust the faucet hose to their preferred height, and the arm holds its position in the last-used height. The 190-degree faucet arm allows for maximum rotation and desired placement, and the faucet is weighted to reduce splashing.
Unit features include SweepSpray for efficient cleaning, Pause Technology to temporarily stop the stream while moving the spray head, and Boost Technology, which activates a heavier water flow that fills pots faster. Purist Suspend is available in polished chrome, brushed nickel, brushed modern brass and matte black.
