JVM Brings Improvements to IL Property

When JVM acquired The Aventine at Oakhurst North in Aurora, Ill., in November 2016, it proposed massive renovations would follow suite. Seven months later the community features an entirely new clubhouse which includes a resident lounge, business center, a twice-as-big fitness center with brand-new equipment and a package locker room. Renovations at other common areas and inside the units will be done as residents move out.

Moving higher on the luxury scale

Offering one-and two-bedroom apartment homes, The Aventine already featured several luxury amenities before JVM decided to start renovation works: ceramic tile backsplash in kitchens, nine-foot vaulted ceilings, large soaking tubs, private balcony/patios with storage and double-vanity sinks in master bathrooms.

In addition to these features, the company announced a new wave of enhancements:

• an exterior and in-unit paint scheme and signage;
• a fire pit and grilling area;
• another pond fountain;
• LED lighting;
• oiled soapstone countertops inside all units;
• built-in microwaves;
• new silver mist and stainless steel appliances;
• new vanity tops;
• luxury vinyl tile flooring.

The community is located at 2800 Pontiac Drive within walking distance from Carriage Crest Park and Braeburn Marsh County Forest Preserve. Downtown Chicago and The O’Hare International Airport are less than a one hour drive from The Aventine.
