D&R Waldwick, a joint venture between Dinallo Construction Corp. and Russo Development, have opened Waldwick Station, a luxury apartment community in Waldwick, N.J. The project first broke ground in the fall of 2016.
“Recognizing a vacant industrial site in a downtown, and near a train station, provided the opportunity to create a prime residential use that will enhance the surrounding community,” said Donald Dinallo, president & chief executive officer of Dinallo Construction Corp. “Waldwick Station is a symbol of those properties that may have languished for years that, with creativity and collaboration with the municipality, can be a great success.”

Located at 41 West Prospect St., the 110-unit community was built on the former DeMartini Coal and Lumber Co. site, which was vacant since 2013, and a second vacant parcel acquired by NJ Transit. Designed by Marchetto, Higgins & Stieve, the property offers interior features such as stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, air conditioning, dishwashers, extra storage, hardwood floors, large closets, window coverings, electronic thermostats, high ceilings, fully-equipped kitchens and washer/dryers. The pet-friendly community offers common area amenities which include:
- clubhouse
- covered/off-street parking
- fitness center
- on-site maintenance/management
- outdoor lounge
- ground floor future coffee-shop
- public transportation
- controlled access/gated
- elevator
- package concierge
- recycling
The property is located within steps of the NJ Transit train station and offers access to both the Main and Bergen County Lines. Downtown Waldwick is minutes away with shopping and retail nearby.
