Ryan Cos. US Inc. LCS and Harrison Street Real Estate Capital have started construction of their third new senior living community in 2017, Clarendale of Addison. The project, in the west Chicago suburb of Addison, Ill., will provide a continuum of care (as do other Clarendale-branded communities): independent living residences, assisted living and memory care.
Clarendale of Addison will consist of 188 units, with 95 devoted to independent living, 55 assisted living units and 38 memory care units. Common amenities will include restaurant-style dining, a bistro, pub and billiards room, a wellness center that includes fitness and therapy, a salon, movie room and a large community room.
The property also connects to Addison’s Centennial Park, which offers walking paths and scenic views. The development is located at 1651 West Lake St., between a Hampton Inn & Suites and Marcus Movie Theater.
The partnership
Besides being the developer, the partnership of Ryan Cos., LCS and Harrison Street will own and manage Clarendale of Addison; Ryan serves as design-builder. PFB Architects is providing the architecture design, Manhard Consulting is the civil engineer and Direct Supply Aptura is the interior designer.Â
Ryan has completed projects in 38 states, while LCS is a specialist in senior housing properties. Clarendale of Addison will open in the summer of 2019.
