JV Begins Phase 2 of $1B Hudson Valley Development
SunCal and Diversified Realty Advisors' Edge-on-Hudson in Sleepy Hollow will comprise 1,177 multifamily units, a 140-key boutique hotel and 165,000 square feet of commercial space.
Toll Brothers has begun construction on The Brownstones collection of luxury townhomes, located within the Edge-on-Hudson, a mixed-use development built on the former General Motors site along the Hudson River.
During phase one, Toll Brothers will build out 306 apartments, 40 of which will be affordable senior housing and 21 affordable workforce housing. The joint venture developers, SunCal and Diversified Realty Advisors, are also beginning infrastructure work on phase two of the $1 billion development. Edge-on-Hudson will comprise 1,177 multifamily units, a 140-key boutique hotel, 135,000 square feet of retail space and 30,000 square feet of office space. The project will also include more than 16 acres of parkland and a promenade along the water that will link the existing Hudson RiverWalk to the south and the Kingsland Point Park to the north, which links to Rockefeller State Park and beyond.
The Brownstones Collection will feature three- and four-story townhomes with large rooftop terraces and 72 townhomes of up to 2,900 square feet. In addition to this collection, Toll Brothers are also constructing The Lofts Collection, which will feature 46 condo flats offering one-, two- or three-bedroom units ranging from 800 to 1,800 square feet.
Last June, a subsidiary of Toll Brothers opened 100 Barrow, a 33-unit luxury condominium property in Manhattan’s historic West Village neighborhood. The company partnered with two architecture firms to develop the building, Barry Rice Architects and Bernheimer Architecture.
