JPI Breaks Ground on Two More DFW Apartment Developments

The two buildings include a total of 801 units.

Jefferson Galatyn Park

Dallas—JPI, a national multifamily development specialist, started work on two new apartment properties in the Dallas/Fort Worth market. They are Jefferson Galatyn Park, a 5.37-acre development located one mile south of the new CityLine development; and Jefferson on Lake Carolyn, a 7.23-acre development inside the Las Colinas Urban Center. Both of the communities will be completed in 2017.

Jefferson Galatyn Park includes 379 units ranging from 600 square feet to 1,450 square feet, with one-, two- and three- bedroom residences as well as loft-style units. Some units also include private yards.

Common amenities include four courtyards, a community rooftop terrace, beer garden, dog park, pool, structured parking and a large two-story clubhouse. The design team included JHP Architecture, overseeing civil engineering, landscape design by Kimley-Horn, and interior design by SJL Design Group.

At Jefferson on Lake Carolyn, there will be 422 unit with one-, two- and three-bedroom units ranging from 600 square feet to 1,500 square feet. Common amenities include structured parking, a pool, clubhouse and landscaped courtyards. The design team included Womack + Hampton Architects, with civil engineering by Glenn Engineering, landscape design by Kimley-Horn and interior design by SJL Design Group.

Recently, data firm AXIOMetrics named JPI the most active multifamily developer in Dallas/Fort Worth. The company currently has 1,886  units under construction, and another 746 were completed in 2015. “We look forward to increasing momentum this year,” said Matt Brendel, JPI’s senior vice president and development partner.
