Jonathan Loretta Joins LCOR as Senior Accountant

Bethesda, Md.—LCOR, a fully integrated real estate company specializing in property investment, management and development, announced that Jonathan Loretta has joined the team as senior accountant. In his new role, Loretta is based out of LCOR’s Washington D.C.-area office and is focusing on LCOR’s commercial property portfolio as lead accountant. In addition, Loretta is handling development accounting for LCOR’s current and future development deals.

Loretta has five years experience in the finance and accounting industry with strong analytical skills in the application of complex accounting issues and financial reporting under IFRS, GAAP and governmental accounting standards.

Prior to joining LCOR, Loretta served as senior property accountant for The Peterson Companies. In this position, he was responsible for finance and accounting functions for a portfolio of both retail and commercial properties and for accounting system administration and trouble shooting for the property management and accounting departments.

Prior to Loretta’s position as senior property accountant for The Peterson Group, he served as senior project accountant for The Meridian Group. In this role he was responsible for oversight of financial reporting to investors and lenders, as well as the coordination and completion of audits for a portfolio of commercial real estate valued at $300 million.

Loretta also spent part of his career at Madison Marquette as a property accountant, responsible for a wide range of finance and accounting functions for a portfolio valued at more than $250 million. Loretta began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers as an associate where he worked on assurance services and industrial products and services.

Loretta graduated from Pennsylvania State University, with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
