Innovations has debuted its artisan-inspired Elan Collection. The 10 wall coverings include nine new offerings and an updated version of an existing covering. The collection uses tactile and organic elements to create intricate designs, and features earth tones, blues and greens, as well as natural colors presented in unusual ways.
Intaglio is made from delicate sheets of metal leaf applied to a paper backing and hand screen printed with color and a geometric pattern. The covering was inspired by a crushed textile that had been reopened.
Macrame combines thick cellulose yarns with cotton yarns to reveal a dense 3D material. The dense covering is then dyed and cut into wide strips, which are arranged to form a chevron pattern.
Strata features almost 3 feet of vertical repeat. The addition of ground mica to the fibrous material brings a fine texture and subtle iridescence. The wall covering’s linear pattern blends well with blue colorways moonstone and carbon.
