North East, Md.—Applications are being accepted at New East Crossing, a new apartment community featuring upscale yet affordable apartments in North East, Md. The announcement was made by Ingerman, for more than two decades a leading developer, manager and builder of Mid-Atlantic multifamily communities.
New East Crossing features 72 units across eight residential buildings, with first occupancies set for October. The property’s Internet/cable-ready apartments offer patios and balconies and washer-dryer hookups, as well as Energy Star-certified windows, heating and cooling systems, lighting and appliances.
The one-, two- and three-bedroom floor plans feature open kitchen layouts with premium appliance package, ceramic tile bathrooms and ample closet space, among an array of desirable features.
Residents will benefit from 24-hour emergency maintenance, management on site and a full resident services program customized to the requirements and desires of residents within the community.
Among the attractive qualities of New East Crossing is its location minutes from the many recreational opportunities afforded by Chesapeake Bay. As well, the community is situated near supermarkets, retail centers, schools, houses of worship and parks. It is also a quick commute to employment for those residents who hold jobs in Elkton, New Castle County and Hartford County.
Ingerman hosted open houses at the community on Thursday, Sept. 26 and Saturday Sept. 28 for prospective residents. They were toured through New East Crossing’s apartments and its sprawling community center.
The center offers a playground, laundry facilities and a community room with warming kitchen for activities and events scheduled at the property. “New East Crossing is designed to meet the demand for newly-constructed affordable apartments in Cecil County,” says Ingerman president and CEO Brad Ingerman. “We’re confident these residences will generate immediate interest and lease at a rapid pace. Offering unparalleled quality at an affordable price, New East Crossing is a prime example of the type of community that Ingerman has come to be known for. We‘re thrilled to be able to continue our track record of best-in-class affordable housing developments with the delivery of this new community.”
In conjunction with the development of New East Crossing, Ingerman is also constructing the new satellite location for the Boys and Girls Club of Cecil County, where an after-school program will be situated.
“The Boys and Girls Club of Cecil County has agreed to give first priority to children who reside in New East Crossing,” Ingerman says. “This is a unique amenity that will greatly benefit the families who live here.”
