New York—Ideal Properties Group will re-launch The Bradford in Bedford Stuyvesant, the 105-unit development formerly known as the Acacia, which will now be utilized for luxury apartments.

Located at 1560 Fulton Ave., the building was constructed using environmentally responsible methods and is certified LEED gold.

“The Bradford embodies the Ideal Properties Group credo: ‘Brooklyn born and bred,” Justin Dower
,
Ideal Properties Group’s senior vice president
/commercial leasing director, tells MHN. “It’s 20 affordable units and all stabilized rents set with the community’s needs in mind. With LEED gold certification and the confident use of green building materials and efficient systems, all located in the center of Brooklyn’s heartland of Bedford-Stuyvesant, we could not imagine a residential development being more Brooklyn.”

Each unit will have a fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops, a stainless steel double-door refrigerator and a dishwasher, a washer and dryer, oversized floor-to-ceiling sliding-glass doors and walnut hardwood flooring. Green features in each unit include individual-room programmable thermostats, energy-efficient lighting, water-conserving dual flush toilets and energy efficient appliances.

The building also offers an extensive list of amenities while remaining ecologically conscious. The Bradford will house a cogent electric system so even if the rest of the borough goes dark, one can still take the elevator to their 9th floor apartment.

“There’s an outdoor rose garden within a large furnished common courtyard, a fitness facility, a common tenant lounge/recreation room/screening room, bicycle storage, 24-hour doorman and security staff,” Dower says. “Sat just a block from the nearest stop on the C train, commuting to just about anywhere in New York City is a cinch. With its north face on Brooklyn’s famed Fulton Street, The Bradford is central to any and all services one could need.”

Prices at The Bradford are $2,096 for one-bedroom residences and $2,515 for two-bedroom apartments.

The Bradford is surrounded by local attractions including Bedford Hall, Therapy Wine Bar, Bedford Hill Coffee Bar, Brooklyn’s Children’s Museum and Catfish.
