IA Community Opens After $5M Renovation
RiverEast in Council Bluff now offers new in-unit and common-area amenities including a fitness center and clubhouse, as well as outdoor recreation.

Dominium has finished a $5 million renovation plan for RiverEast, a 120-unit affordable housing community in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Improvements include upgrades to the interior and exterior amenities.
Located at 3201 Renner Drive Council Bluffs, the property offers convenient access to Omaha, Neb., and to several dining, shopping and entertainment venues including Omaha Children’s Museum, Lake Manawa State Park, Council Bluffs Recreation Soccer Complex, Malmore Park and Mid-America Center, among others.
RiverEast features a mix of two- and three-bedroom units ranging from 971 to 1,155 square feet. In-unit amenities include new washers and dryers, private balconies or patios, fully equipped kitchens with energy-star rated appliances, separate dining and living room areas, and air conditioning. The pet-friendly community includes common-area amenities such as a new clubhouse, an on-site fitness center, party room, outdoor playground and a maintenance shop. Additionally, a new pergola, fire pit and a courtyard for grilling stations and entertaining area will also be available.
