Affordable Senior Housing Community Opens in MN

Minneapolis-based Dominium has opened The Legends of Spring Lake Park, a 194-unit affordable senior housing community in Spring Lake Park, Minn. Minnesota Housing Finance Agency, Aegon, Citi and Alliance Bank provided the loan.

Located at 1066 NE County Highway 10, the pet-friendly property offers convenient access to the Minneapolis-St. Paul area and to a variety of dining, shopping and entertainment venues including Able Park, Triangle Memorial Park, The Home Depot, Taco Bell and Laddle Lake. Additionally, the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport is approximately 26 miles away.

The Legends of Spring Lake Park features a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom units ranging from 766 to 1,439 square feet and includes in-unit amenities such as granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, washer and dryer, as well as a balcony or bay window. Common-area amenities include a heated parking, fitness center, community room, fireplace, theater room, beauty studio and outdoor area with grilling stations.

In another recent deal, Dominium has acquired a $22.5 million affordable community near Phoenix.
