The Vue is a mixed-use luxury property in downtown Overland Park featuring almost 9,000 square feet of retail space.

The Vue

Hunt Midwest has closed the first two retail leases at The Vue, a 219-unit, mixed-use luxury property in downtown Overland Park. Parisi Café and Evolve Juicery & Kitchen will occupy 4,135 square feet, which represents almost half of the total retail space available at the property.

“We wanted The Vue to house a mix of retailers that would provide highly desirable products and services to our residents and the greater Downtown Overland Park community,” said Ora Reynolds, president & CEO of Hunt Midwest, in a prepared statement.

Healthy Dining Options

The Vue is a redevelopment project under construction at W. 80th St. between Marty and Floyd streets. For Parisi Café, this will be the second location in the Kansas City area. The new shop will span 2,293 square feet and will include a large, covered outdoor patio. The menu will include hand-crafted espresso and other coffee drinks, pastries, sandwiches, soups and other grab-and-go food and beverage items. The store is scheduled to open early next year.

“The revitalization of the area has brought additional lifestyle, retail and entertainment options which makes The Vue the perfect location for the next Parisi Café,” said Anthony Paris, chief legal officer and COO of Parisi’s parent company, Paris Brothers Specialty Foods, in prepared remarks.

Evolve Juicery & Kitchen will open its 1,842-square-foot store in October, before The Vue’s official opening in December. It will offer several freshly prepared meals, side dishes and cold-press organic juices.

In addition to the retail and residential components, The Vue is scheduled to incorporate a 324-space parking garage as well as a number of amenities, including a resort-style swimming pool and a state-of-the-art fitness center. The community will be managed by Greystar.
