Norman, Okla.—Greystar Student Living will manger the Millennium Apartments, a new 698-bed, purpose-built student housing community in Norman, Okla., owned by Real Capital Solutions.

“Millennium offers residents modern amenities unmatched in the market, a location that is easily walkable and more convenient to campus than its competitors, and will provide a high-quality living experience at a value that can’t be beat,” Ken Cope, Real Capital Solutions’ vice president, told MHN. “In the fall of 2015, close to 700 people will have a place that they will be proud to call home.”

Located at 900 E. Lindsey St., on the south east side of the University of Oklahoma, the gated community is being developed by Park Green Living and offers a variety of studio, two-, four- and five-bedroom apartment homes ranging in size from 375 to 1,705 square feet.

The interiors of the units feature private bathrooms for every bedroom, granite counters, stainless steel appliances, hardwood-style floors, a big-screen “smart” television and chic, stylish furniture.

In terms of common areas, the property will feature 1-gig “fiber” Internet service with free Wi-Fi access throughout the community, a luxury, resort-style multi-level pool and sundeck, a state-of-the-art fitness center with cross training areas, as well as a disc golf course, soccer field, horseshoe and bocce ball areas. Fitting to the “urban” style living, the property will have convenient shuttle service and a bike-sharing program with use of community bikes shared by all residents.

“Real Capital Solutions is well-known for adding value to properties in order to benefit its residents, employees and stakeholders,” Cope said. “In this particular instance, with the help of everyone involved in the project, we were able to transform an underutilized piece of land in an excellent location to become the premier student housing option at the University of Oklahoma.”

The site is easily walkable to campus, only a stone’s throw from the University of Oklahoma football stadium, and right next door to Braum’s restaurant and grocery store.

“We are delighted to have the opportunity to work with Park Green Living and Real Capital Solutions,” Michelle Fuller, Greystar Student Living’s managing director, said. “We are looking forward to providing enriched management services and overall excellence on behalf of our client.”
