As the daughter of a New York developer and broker, Lili Dunn knew the ins and outs of the multifamily industry from an early age. In college, she was already selling houses and leasing apartments. After two decades at Trammell Crow Residential—which later became AvalonBay Communities—she joined Bell Partners, where she currently serves as president, overseeing all aspects of the company’s business.
In the June episode of our “Mission Success: Women in Multifamily” podcast series with Multi-Housing News Senior Editor Laura Calugar, Dunn talks about her career path and her mentors, but she also shares details about how Bell Partners navigated the changes brought on by the pandemic. Another aspect she touches on is workforce diversity and inclusion, a field where she feels the industry still has a long way to go.
