Haven Unveils Student Housing Project at Texas Tech University

The 556-bed luxury student housing community developed by Haven Campus Communities will feature technology-oriented amenities.

Lubbock, TexasHaven Campus Communities recently announced a new 556-bed luxury student housing community at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. The new development is set to open in fall 2017.

Located in Overton district directly adjacent to Texas Tech, the project will offer immediate access to the TTU campus and walkability to entertainment venues such as restaurants, bars and shops. The new student housing facility will feature 140 units with two- and four-bedroom floorplans.

Residential amenities include a cyber-lounge with charging stations, coffee bar, fitness center, tanning rooms, game room, computer center with private study rooms featuring Smart TVs and on-site management. The property will also feature a swimming pool, multiple gathering areas with built-in seating, bocce and horseshoes, fire pits, and an open courtyard.

The new luxury development will be the second project in Lubbock for Haven, with the original project, 18NINETEEN, set to open by fall 2016.
