Happy National Puppy Day!

Pets with wealthy owners have a lifestyle that would make most of us envious. If you’re a property owner or manager, here’s a list of dog-friendly amenities that would convince any resident to stay forever.

March 23 is a very special day for all animal lovers in the world. It’s National Puppy Day, founded in 2006 by author Colleen Paige. These 24 hours should be spent around four-legged roommates, pampering and spoiling them with tasty treats.

Property managers and owners that really want to cater to their residents’ needs should consider investing more in dog-friendly amenities. According to a realtor.com survey, 75 percent of pet owners would pass on living in their dream home if it weren’t a good fit for their beloved family member. So if you need inspiration, here are a few upscale communities in the U.S. that have taken pet amenities to a whole new level. These residential properties have luxury grooming spas that would make most humans jealous of their furry companions.

Oceana Bal Harbour

Located less than 1 mile from Bal Harbour Shops, directly on Bal Harbour beach and near Haulover Park, Oceana Bal Harbour is an ultra-luxurious development in Miami’s Bal Harbour neighborhood. The 28-story, 240-unit offers furry residents their own 5-star treatment at a designer pet grooming spa, including shampooing and deep-conditioning fur treatments, haircuts, blowouts, dental cleanings and pawdicures. Owners can also book group or solo dog walks, in-home feeding, playtime, socialization services and trainings.

Situated at the corner of Grant Park in Chicago, 1000M, a 74-story condominium skyscraper, is slated to include a separate pet elevator, residents-only illuminated dog park and a private-entry dog spa with a washing area and drying station.

525 West 52nd Street

The two-tower luxury rental in New York’s Hell’s Kitchen submarket features not only a residential concierge, but also a pet concierge. In partnership with Throw Me a Bone, an all-inclusive, in-home pet care provider, residents can utilize door-to-door dog walking, in-home puppy visits, cat sitting, overnight stays or dog trainings. The space includes a daycare facility for group play sessions, a full grooming spa and a veterinary clinic. Furthermore, an air purification system makes the space fresh and clean for all visitors.

The Ritz-Carlton Residences Miami Beach

Comprising 111 luxury condominiums, the property includes an elite pet spa suite where residents can bring their beloved animals for grooming and bathing at self-serve stations or arrange for a specialized grooming service by a professional. The community’s staff can even provide “anticipatory” services, which means that they can anticipate when a pet needs a treatment and then assist residents by making appointments and/or arranging dog walking services.
