Halstead Management Co. has promoted Leslie Bogen Winkler as its new president. Winkler, who previously served as executive vice president, she will oversee management for approximately 20,000 units across 200 buildings in New York.

Winkler brings more than 40 years of experience in residential property management to her new position. She served as the head of Penmark Realty Management, which merged together with Halstead eight years ago. Before that, she was the president of Bellmarc Management Co. Winkler holds an MBA as well as bachelor’s and master’s degrees from New York University.

“She is an industry veteran and proven leader, bringing a combination of expertise and passion for her work to this important position. We are confident that Leslie will help take our property management business to even greater heights,” said David Burris, co-chairman of Terra Holdings—Halstead’s parent company—in a prepared statement.

Earlier this month, Halstead named a new executive director of sales in the firm’s West Side Manhattan office.
