Greystar to Manage Student Housing Near University of Oklahoma
The Avenue at Norman was developed to provide students with an off-campus living option with a variety of amenities.
Norman, Okla.—Student housing specialist Arris Real Estate Partners has tapped Greystar Student Living to manage The Avenue at Norman, a 894-bed student housing community at 3301 12th Ave. SE in Norman, Okla.
The Avenue at Norman was developed in 2014 to provide students with an off-campus living option close to the University of Oklahoma. It includes numerous floor plans, from studios to five-bedroom townhomes, that range from 600 to 2,200 square feet.
Common amenities include a clubhouse with one of the largest fitness centers in Norman, a movie theater, gaming room with ping pong tables, golf simulator and billiards, cyber café, study center and conference room. Students also have access to a resort-style swimming pool, an outdoor deck with seating, aqua lounge and grilling stations. The community is also pet friendly.
“We’re always looking for new ways to exceed our resident’s expectations,” Greystar Student Living Managing Director Michelle Fuller tells MHN. “As apartment managers, we must be able to meet the needs of our tech-savvy students by providing online leasing, renewals and service orders. It’s also important to provide ample internet bandwidth and keep relevant on social media.”
Norman is a suburb of Oklahoma City and home to the university, which has an enrollment of more than 30,000. Greystar Student Living, based in Dallas, is the national student housing platform of Greystar Real Estate Partners, and manages about 14,000 beds nationwide.
