Generations Healthcare has purchased Bradley Court Special Care Center, a 56-bed skilled nursing facility in El Cajon, Calif. The acquisition brings the company’s portfolio to eight facilities in the San Diego area and 29 across the U.S.

Located at 675 E. Bradley Ave., the facility specializes in treating patients with physical ailments that also have a secondary diagnosis of mental illness. Bradley Court includes two individually fenced buildings; a third, 99-bed property is also planned. The care center provides medication management, physical therapy and speech therapy, but also scheduled outings and wellness activities.

The property is some two miles northeast of city center near San Vicente Freeway, less than two miles north of Interstate 8. There are several shopping and dining options within a two-mile radius of the facility, including Parkway Plaza.

In January, a 72-bed skilled nursing facility in Merced, Calif., received $16.3 million in financing from Cambridge Realty Capital. The care center provides short-term rehabilitation services for people recovering from illnesses or surgery.
