Four Points by Sheraton Berlin Airport to Open in 2014

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc. has announced plans to introduce Four Points by Sheraton Berlin Airport in Germany’s capital city.

Berlin—Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc. has announced plans to introduce Four Points by Sheraton Berlin Airport in Germany’s capital city. Scheduled to open in 2014, the hotel will be the first property for the brand in Berlin and the third in Germany.

The new development will be situated nearby a new business park and just a few kilometers from Berlin Brandenburg International Airport. The facility is currently under construction and it is expected to become Germany’s third busiest airport upon completion in late 2013.

Owned by Proprietas s.r.o., Four Points by Sheraton Berlin Airport will offer 253 stylish guest rooms, along with two restaurants, a lobby bar, a 24-hour fitness center, meeting and event space and a fully equipped business center. Other amenities include free bottled water and free Wi-Fi in all public areas.

Four Points by Sheraton Berlin Airport is part of Starwood’s expansion strategy to open more than 25 hotels across Europe over the next four years. In Germany, the company also plans to open an Element and Westin property.

Four Points by Sheraton has more than 170 hotels in nearly 30 countries around the world, making it Starwood’s third largest brand with the second-biggest global pipeline. The hotels provide travelers with an uncomplicated friendly approach to hospitality and service.
