Essency’s EXR On-Demand Water Heater Is a Step Up
EXR’s tank is encased in durable, double-walled polymer that is built to last three times longer than a metal tank.
Essency has answered the call for a more consumer-friendly water heater. The French-designed unit combines the benefits of tank and tankless units. EXR is an on-demand water heater with an 80-gallon capacity and a body that occupies the space equivalent to that of a 50-gallon conventional tank unit. The unit delivers hot water at a temperature that’s comparable to a tank unit and also supplies enough to meet multiple simultaneous demands, including showering, shaving and laundry.
EXR’s tank is encased in durable, double-walled polymer that is built to last three times longer than a metal tank. The unit’s design eliminates rust or scale build-up and harmful bacteria. When hot water is fetched, fresh domestic water goes through the heat exchanger, where energy is transferred from the heated water in the storage tank. The water used never mixes with the water in the unit’s core tank, where the heat source it stored.
With its 30-year lifespan, the unit outperforms traditional units without compromising output. EXR boasts a touch-screen display and intuitive controls. Users can choose from several energy-saving functions, including Smart + Heat, Boost and Water Saver for more efficient operation.
