Emaar Properties Expanding Arabian Ranches in Dubai

Dubai, United Arab Emirates—Emaar Properties PJSC, the Dubai-based global property developer, has announced it will be expanding Arabian Ranches, its master-planned community set within the desert, a few miles out of Dubai. The first part of the expansion is the launch of CASA at Arabian Ranches, a Moroccan-style villa development with exclusive community amenities.

The villa community of CASA will feature three- and four-bedroom luxury villas in six distinct designs in accordance with Moroccan architecture. Community amenities include a state-of-the-art health club and up-to-date recreation center, landscaped community gardens, walkway, bicycle trails and retail options such as a network of F&B outlets.

According to a company press release, Arabian Ranches CASA villas will start on November 24, 2012. An online registration process started on November 21. According to Emirates 24/7, registration closed within 60 minutes due to an overwhelming interest in the 253-villa community. The same outlet reported that plot sizes vary between 5,000 and 6,000 square feet and have a 3,100 to 4,000-square-foot built-up size. The gated community is located on Al-Qudra Road. Emaar purchased the land in July from Dubai Properties Group.

United Arab Emirates construction group Arabtec Construction LLC has recently announced that it has signed a deal with Emaar to design and construct 33 villas and 62 townhomes worth approximately $29 million dollars (AED 107). According to a press release the undertaking that will soon break ground is estimated to complete in 18 months and is part of the Arabian Ranches expansion.

However, CASA is not the only expansion announced at Arabian Ranches. Emaar will be developing additional leisure and lifestyle facilities, as well as the development’s key features: green amenities, such as walking trails and community gardens. A retail and community village center featuring schools, a day care center, a mosque, grocery store, health and fitness center and an abundance of dining and retail options will also be developed.
