Fort Worth, Texas—DIJ Properties recently announced the acquisition of two apartment communities in Fort Worth, with a combined 408 units. According to Yardi Matrix data, the new owner purchased the assets from AV Properties for an undisclosed amount.

Located at 9001 and 9051 South Normandale St., the properties are situated west of downtown Fort Worth, just a few minutes from major employers. The two communities provide easy access to I-30 and I-820, but also to Fort Worth Cultural District, Sundance Square and the Southside Medical District. The Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth is approximately 3 miles from the properties. The base is made up of 40 separate commands including 10,000 active duty military, guardsmen, reservists and civilian employees.

The Falls is a 256-unit community with 140 one-, 100-two and 16 three-bedroom apartments. Built in 1974, the two-story property has two lighted tennis courts, two swimming pools and 450 parking spaces. The community consists of 33 buildings.

Oak Village is a 152-unit community with 96 one- and 56 two-bedroom apartments. Built in 1980, the two-story asset has a swimming pool, private balconies and patios and 300 parking spaces. The property comprises 13 buildings.
