Crescent Resources Names VP of Student Housing and Florida Multifamily Operations

Crescent Resources, LLC, promoted Tim Dison to lead the company’s multifamily projects in Florida, as well as student housing activities throughout the country.

Charlotte, N.C.—Crescent Resources, LLC, promoted Tim Dison to lead the company’s multifamily projects in Florida, as well as student housing activities throughout the country.
As vice president of Crescent’s multifamily division, Dison’s responsibilities include Circle West Campus in Austin, Texas–Crescent’s first student housing development, which is under construction near the University of Texas. Dison’s expanded role will also include the development of Circle at Bayshore in Tampa. Construction is slated to begin on Circle at Bayshore in the first quarter of 2012. In addition, Dison will be pursuing other opportunities to develop multifamily housing throughout the Southeast to serve students and in Florida.

Prior to Crescent, Dison was a project manager in Charlotte for RJ Griffin & Company and Summit Contractors. He was also a superintendent for Marlyn Development Corporation and Ripley-Wright Associates, both in Virginia Beach, Va.
Dison studied pre-engineering at Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Ala., and received his degree in Architecture from Hampton University in Hampton, Va.

Crescent’s newest multifamily projects include Gallery at Cameron Village in Raleigh, N.C., and The Venue at Cool Springs in Nashville, Tenn. Circle at Ninth Street in Durham, N.C., Circle at South Park in Charlotte; and Circle at Bay Shore in Tampa are in the planning stages. The company is also actively seeking new markets across the Southeast.
