Cordish Cos., Texas Rangers Plan 300-Unit Upscale Community
The venture will break ground on the Dallas-Fort Worth project this fall.
A partnership between The Texas Rangers and The Cordish Cos. has unveiled plans for One Rangers Way, a 300-unit residential community in Arlington, Texas. The property, set to break ground this fall, is an addition to the $1 billion in developments underway in the Arlington Entertainment District, including Loews Arlington Hotel & Convention Center, as well as the National Medal of Honor Museum.
Slated for completion in 2024, the project encompassing more than 43,000 square feet of interior and exterior amenities space will comprise a mid-rise building with one- and two-bedroom apartments and penthouse homes. Community amenities will include exterior green spaces, an infinity swimming pool, fitness center, coworking spaces and 423 parking spaces. Hord Coplan Macht is the designer of the project, which is planned to meet National Green Building Standard certification standards.
Located near Nolan Ryan Expressway, One Rangers Way will be adjacent to Choctaw Stadium, 1 mile from AT&T Stadium and within half a mile of Dr. Robert Cluck Linear Park. Numerous dining, entertainment and retail options in Lincoln Square are less than a mile away.
The Cordish Cos. owns more than a dozen properties encompassing some 3,800 apartments, both completed and in various stages of development, across five states, Yardi Matrix data shows. At the end of last year, the company broke ground on Three Light Luxury Apartments, a 26-story community in Kansas City, Mo., expected to deliver in September 2023.
