Community for Physically Disabled Opens Doors

Indianapolis—A brand new apartment community for the physically disabled officially welcomed its first residents.
The 15-unit The Woods at Crooked Creek is for physically disabled citizens ages 18 and over. Situated at 7402 Michigan Road, the community is an 811 HUD subsidized property.
AHEPA Management Company began taking applications in February and the property opened its doors to the first residents on May 29. Rent per unit is income based. Based on the applications received, Dale Parsons, regional manager for AHEPA Management Company, predicts the property will be fully occupied by August.
Units at The Woods at Crooked Creek are one story unfurnished residences of 540 square feet. Property amenities include a community room and nearby shopping and restaurants. AHEPA Management Company complies with the Federal Fair Housing Act through Equal Housing Opportunity.
AHEPA Management Company is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization providing management services for nearly 100 subsidized apartment buildings throughout the United States. AHEPA also provides third party quality assurance for service coordination.
