Columbia City Condos to Break Ground This Summer

BDR Urban LLC is planning to complete the 96-unit Sonata Condominiums project in southern Seattle by the end of 2019.

Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty has announced the forthcoming Sonata Condominiums project in the Columbia City neighborhood of southern Seattle. Developer BDR Urban LLC plans to break ground on the 96-unit community this summer and complete the project by the end of 2019.

The site is located at 4561 Martin Luther King Jr. Way S., next to the Columbia City Station, within a 15-minute train ride from downtown Seattle.  The Rainier Avenue South retail corridor is also within easy reach, providing various dining, shopping, entertainment and leisure options.

High-end amenities

Sonata Condominiums will provide studio, urban-one-bedroom, one-bedroom, one-bedroom-plus-den and two-bedroom apartments, with sizes ranging between 400 and 1,000 square feet. First prices fluctuate from almost $300,000 to more than $800,000, with reservations commencing soon.

Apartments will include oversized windows, hardwood floors, quartz countertops and personalized kitchens with stainless steel appliances. Common-area amenities will feature:

  • community bike room and tuning area

  • great room with screening area
  • fitness studio
