Colorado Community Under New Ownership Through HFF
Prior to the sale, the 185-unit, garden-style community was 90.3 percent occupied, according to data provided by Yardi Matrix.

HFF recently closed the sale of Tantra Lake, a 185-unit, garden-style community in Boulder, Colo. Boulder Housing Authority acquired the asset from Waterton for an undisclosed amount. HFF’s Executive Managing Director Mathew Lawton and Managing Director Jordan Robbins represented the seller in the transaction.
The community features one-, two- and three-bedroom floor plans, averaging 812 square feet. Amenities include a fitness and business center, a clubhouse, indoor pool and on-site laundry facilities. Tantra Lake offers a variety of outdoor amenities such as tennis and basketball courts, picnic area and a playground. The property is also adjacent to hiking trails and bike paths. The community was 90.3 percent occupied as of February 2017, according to Yardi Matrix data.
Located at 1000 W. Moorhead Circle, Tantra Lake is in close proximity to downtown Boulder and the University of Colorado Boulder campus. Its location provides easy access to U.S. Route 36. The community is within walking distance to RTD bus routes and an array of restaurants and shopping options.
Most recently, HFF secured a $43.3 million construction loan for a mixed-use community in Denver.
