CGD and Four Seasons Announce Waterfront Luxury Project along Bangkok’s Chao Phraya River
Country Group Development and Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts have partnered up to develop a new luxury hotel and residential project on the Chao Phraya River in the capital city of Thailand.

Bangkok, Thailand–Country Group Development and Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts have partnered up to develop a new luxury hotel and residential project on the Chao Phraya River in the capital city of Thailand. The development is set to become the location of the new Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok and Four Seasons Private Residences Bangkok. The development is set to occupy a large amount of the river’s waterfront, and is part of an ongoing initiative to improve one of the country’s most important urban waterways.
CGD and Four Seasons’ Chao Phraya River development will feature a 73-story tower, adding to the city’s skyline. The commercial component of the include a 300-key hospitality facility including suites and rooms, as well as a guest amenity package and dining, provided by the hotel operator. The residential component will feature around 350 high-end, all-corner units that will offer residents views of Bangkok. According to the announcement, the low-density, mixed-use project will take shape along the Chao Phraya River for a length of around 1150 feet, improving the waterfront of the iconic Thai waterway.
The project is set with a 2018 completion, with both components being made available at the same time. The developers tasked master plan and design consultants Hamiltons International with coming up with the general aesthetic of the project, with interior design group BAMO also part of the creative process for the waterfront mixed-use property. Starting with this month, the developers have launched the Residential Sales Gallery for the Four Seasons Private Residences Bangkok, with a listing already available from JLL.
