Atlanta—Carroll Organization, a privately-held real estate company focused on multifamily investment, management, and development, has embarked on a new initiative aimed at enhancing its property management services, which are currently provided both to third parties and to Carroll Organization’s 10,000-unit portfolio of owned properties. Carroll Organization is undertaking a number of specific steps that will streamline its property management infrastructure in preparation for expansion in new and existing markets. The announcement was made on behalf of Carroll Organization by M. Patrick Carroll, founder and chief executive officer.

Carroll Organization recently appointed David Cypher to the role of chief operating officer, overseeing all property management activities including financial accounting and reporting. Before joining Carroll Organization, Cypher was a finance executive on Morgan Stanley’s MSREF VI and Global VII funds, and a PricewaterhouseCoopers auditor for large public companies. Reporting directly to Cypher is Linda Masterson, a Carroll Organization veteran who has overseen the company’s property-level management activities through an era of explosive growth, and successfully maintained a consistent program of community building in the process.
