San Francisco—Multifamily property investment specialist Carmel Partners has appointed Liz Tennican as senior vice president of investor relations and marketing in the company’s San Francisco headquarters. In her new position, Tennican will report to Michael LaHorgue, president of Carmel.
“Liz has a superb 20-year track record as a strategic leader in investor relations, business development and marketing,” said LaHorgue in a prepared statement.
Tennican’s professional background includes working at Watershed Asset Management as managing director, as well as head of IR and business development. Prior to that, she was managing director and head of U.S. Institutional Sales at BlackRock’s iShares, focusing on strategy and development of solutions-based approaches for large institutional clients. She also headed the Institutional Consultant Resource Group at Barclays Global Investors.
Tennican holds a Master of Business Administration from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Stanford University.
