Campus Advantage To Manage 578-Bed Cleveland Student Community

LRC Realty has selected Campus Advantage to manage University Edge, a 148-unit, 578-bed student housing community in Akron, Ohio, serving the students at the University of Akron.
University Edge comprises two five-story buildings with fully-amenitized two-, three- and four-bedroom units ranging from 1,006 to 1,556 square feet. Community amenities include a fitness center, outdoor grilling areas, a clubhouse with study space and a community room. The property also features more than 18,500 square feet of first-floor retail space, home to Chipotle, Five Guys, Arby’s and Penn Station East Coast Subs, among others.
Located at 393 Sumner St., the community is next to the University of Akron campus, InfoCision Stadium and FirstEnergy Stadium. The city center’s numerous dining and entertainment options are within 1 mile of the property. Interstate 76 is 1 mile south.
Campus Advantage currently manages more than 30 student properties across 22 states. At the end of last year, the company expanded its management portfolio with Taylor Bend, a 288-bed property in Oxford, Miss., and Ivy Row at South, a 186-bed community in Mobile, Ala.
