Dallas—Caddis recently broke ground on Heartis MidCities, a new senior housing community located in Bedford, Texas. The 178,530-square-foot independent living, assisted living and memory care residence will feature 178 units. The facility is expected to be completed in winter 2017.
Heartis MidCities is designed to feature high-end residential amenities such as outdoor walking paths, secured courtyards, game and activity rooms, a beauty and barber shop and common areas created to stimulate daily social and recreational activities.
Portland, Ore.-based Frontier Management, which specializes in senior living operations, will manage the residence. The architect for the project is Austin-based Katus LLC.
“Heartis MidCities will provide residents with the highest quality amenities and services, plus a great location with convenient access for them and their families. We’re proud to offer the kind of community where our own moms and dads would feel at home,” said Katie Csobaji, Caddis’ senior vice president of senior living, in prepared remarks.
The property is Caddis’ fifth senior living community near Dallas/Fort Worth and its 12th in Texas. Other Heartis communities in the area are located in Arlington, Fort Worth and Cleburne. Caddis’ first senior community was Orchard Park of Murphy located near Plano, Texas.
