Braemar Partners to Build Luxury Senior Housing in New Jersey
Opening is scheduled for late 2025.
Braemar Partners has started pre-construction work on Arbor Terrace Montgomery, an upcoming 80-unit luxury senior housing community in Somerset County, N.J. The project is set to come online in late 2025, and will be operated by The Arbor Co.
Faulkner Design Group will provide the interior design, while Studio Architects serves as the project’s main architect.
Upon completion, the 67,000-square-foot property will comprise 27 assisted living apartments, 29 memory care units designated for seniors living with dementia and 24 Bridges apartments, which feature added cognitive support for residents experiencing the early stages of dementia.
The senior housing community will provide on-site therapy and rehabilitation, concierge and scheduled transportation services, housekeeping, personal linen and laundry services, and a Dining with Dignity meal program. Common-area amenities will include a beauty salon and several gathering spaces, among others.
Arbor Terrace will rise on a 4.4-acre site at the intersection of Route 206 and Washington Street, in the Princeton submarket, in an area with several dining options, green spaces and retail centers. The property is within the Montgomery Crossing development—a separate project by Sharbell Development Corp. which is set to include 107 luxury townhouses.
