Greenbelt, Md.—Bozzuto Management Company has announced it has been selected to provide management services at 5333 Connecticut in Washington, D.C.
The new, all-glass, 261-unit apartment community from developer Calvin Cafritz Enterprises is opening in the city’s Chevy Chase neighborhood, near metro, shopping and fine dining in Friendship Heights.
“We were able to offer our Advisory Service very early in the planning process, which assisted with the selection of unit finishes, amenity design and furnishings and the development of the 5333 Connecticut brand,” Stephanie Williams, Bozzuto Management Company president, told MHN. “Our experience helping to position new, high-end buildings was very attractive to the Cafriz group.”
Experience in the D.C. high-end luxury market and the ability to leverage its network of renters looking for apartment home options in traditional D.C. neighborhoods was another factor in Bozzuto’s selection, Williams said.
Yet another, she added, is “the range of services we offer, including our Top Notch by Bozzuto program, which offers personalized concierge services to our residents.”
Leasing for 5333 Connecticut has begun. First move-ins are expected to arrive in May, with opening celebration events also slated for spring.
Bozzuto will offer comprehensive resident services, connections and perks to create an experience of culture and convenience. Resident events will include the “Politics & Prose” sponsored book club, wellness and yoga days, spa nights by the infinity pool, local chef nights, weekly wine tastings, meet up groups and pet-friendly “yappy hours.”
Bozzuto will offer an array of special services exclusively to 5333 Connecticut residents. Those services will include housekeeping planning, transportation services, nutrition and massage therapist arrangement, private catering events coordination and interior design/home decoration recommendations.
A majestic glass canopy entrance designed and engineered by Skidmore, Owings, and Merrill LLP and featuring two seamless stainless steel segments and 15 separate glass panels, helps differentiate 5333 Connecticut from the area’s traditional brick buildings.
The wide variety of luxury amenities offered at 5333 Connecticut include landscaped courtyard with outdoor fire table, comfortable seating and water feature, rooftop swimming pool with infinity spillway, rooftop dog walking area, community room with bar, seating and dining areas, fitness center, yoga room, business center and an underground parking garage with 200-plus spaces.
Williams believes 5333 represents “the perfect balance between the vibrancy of city life and the tranquility of an urban sanctuary. We are proud to have been selected by Cafritz as management company for this remarkable property.”
She doesn’t anticipate any real challenges in the management of 5333 Connecticut. “The property is stunning, and the location—[a] walkable neighborhood setting with access north to Maryland and south into Lower Northwest D.C.—is very convenient and attractive,” she said.
