Environmentally conscious US manufacturer Bazzèo has been creating contemporary kitchens that are as functional as they are beautiful for the last five and a half years. The firm recently introduced the latest class of the GAIA line, GAIA GLASS, named for the white glass doors that are paired with a high-tech lightweight aluminum door. The result is a clean, minimalistic and contemporary look, which, according to Bazzèo, is right on the mark for the 2013 trend forecast in kitchen and cabinetry design that gravitates towards the elimination of all unnecessary and ornate details (think the iPhone 5 of kitchens).
The visibly frame-less doors give GAIA GLASS an overall clean appearance with the back painted glass adding depth to the design. Doors are built from an invisible aluminum structure frame to which a quarter-inch-thick piece of fingerprint free glass is fitted. The lightweight door does not create strain on the hinges, meaning the cabinets will have a long lifespan in an apartment setting.
