Bainbridge Cos. Wraps Up San Antonio-Area Community

The Bainbridge Cos. has opened Bainbridge Creekside, a 291-unit luxury community in New Braunfels, Texas, a San Antonio suburb.
In June 2022, Bainbridge acquired the 14-acre development site and took out a $42 million construction loan from Texas Capital Bank, Yardi Matrix shows. Construction on the property started two months later.
The property comprises three-story apartment buildings alongside two-level townhomes with attached garages. The unit mix features one- and two-bedroom layouts ranging between 789 and 1,267 square feet. All apartments have washers and dryers, stainless steel appliances and quartz countertops.

Common-area amenities include a clubhouse, business center, swimming pool with expansive sundeck, coworking lounge, outdoor pavilion with lounge seating and billiards lounge. The property also has a beer garden and pet park.
Located at 770 Barbarosa Road, Bainbridge Creekside is close to several dining options and Resolute Baptist Hospital. New Braunfels Town Center at Creekside is 1.5 miles away, while New Braunfels National Airport is 3.4 miles southeast. Downtown San Antonio is some 36 miles southwest.
The developer’s growing inventory
Since its inception in 1997, Bainbridge has developed and acquired more than 43,000 rental homes, and its portfolio is still growing. In recent months, the firm opened a 252-unit community in Orlando, Fla. and a 259-unit luxury property in Cary, N.C.
At the beginning of the year, the developer announced the groundbreaking of Bainbridge Midlothian, a 310-unit luxury development in Midlothian, Va. That community is slated for completion in the summer of 2024.
