Atlas Senior Living Buys South Florida Luxury Asset

The assisted living and memory care property came online in 2020.

Atlas Senior Living has acquired The Harrison of Stuart, a 134-unit assisted living and memory care community in Stuart, Fla., and renamed it as The Goldton at Stuart. Sagora Senior Living previously operated the luxury property.

Confluent Senior Living developed the two-story community, which came online in 2020. Baker Barrios was the project architect, while The Douglas Co. served as general contractor.

The property is at 786 NW Federal Highway, just off U.S. Route 1. Multiple parks and medical centers are within walking distance.

The wheelchair-accessible community includes 96 assisted living apartments ranging from 506 to 690 square feet and 38 memory care studios of up to 551 square feet.

Favorable fundamentals and positive population trends are helping with senior housing’s recovery. Deal volume surpassed $24 billion last year, the highest level in more than a decade, according to a JLL survey. Moreover, the price per unit reached more than $182,000 in the last quarter of 2025, marking a 29 percent year-over-year increase.

The largest transaction of last year was Ventas Inc.’s $600 million acquisition of a five-property senior housing portfolio on New York’s Long Island. Assets traded for a whopping $789,000 per unit.
