Aston Martin Lends Design Savvy to Namesake Miami Residences

The British automobile company started construction on a 66-story luxury residential tower in Miami. Located at 300 Biscayne Boulevard Way, where Biscayne Bay meets the Miami River, Aston Martin Residences will offer bay views as well as vistas of downtown Miami and the Atlantic Ocean.

Aston Martin Residences is the first downtown Miami condominium to break ground this year. Sponsor G&G Business Developments—the real estate arm of Argentina’s Coto family—chose to partner with the car maker due to the latter’s access to an elite network of potential buyers. Despite Miami’s relatively flat condo market, nearly 25 percent of all units have gone to contract, thanks in part to the strength of the Aston Martin brand.

Brand value

In addition to its name, the property will bear the brand’s signature leather and stitching details, said the company’s Chief Creative Officer Marek Reichman, and the interiors and amenities will evoke a sophisticated aesthetic. Interiors feature high ceilings—10 feet in residences and 12 feet in penthouses—as well as floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding glass doors. European cabinetry will adorn the high-end, custom-designed kitchens and bathrooms, while porcelain flooring elevates private glass balconies. Four full floors will house amenities such as a spinning studio, full-service spa, virtual golf course, movie theaters, infinity pool and curated art gallery.

Shaped like a sail, the building will feature one- to five-bedroom condos. The residences range from $600,000 to $8.5 million, and the penthouses are priced from $14 million to $50 million. Units start at 698 square feet, with the largest penthouse spanning more than 18,000 square feet.

Revuelta Architecture International and Bodas Miami Anger are the project architects, while Cervera Real Estate is handling sales and marketing.

At the property’s recent groundbreaking ceremony, Aston Martin Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Simon Sproule voiced his enthusiasm toward the company’s ongoing expansion. “Our partnership with G&G Business Developments to create Aston Martin Residences Miami forms an important part of that growth story and of our desire to bring our brand to new audiences across the world.
