ARA Newmark has expanded its southwest multi-housing brokerage presence in Phoenix, with the addition of Brett Polachek as senior managing director. In this new role, Polachek will be involved in new business development, valuation analysis and pricing strategies, as well as marketing, originating and managing investment sale transactions across Arizona. He will work closely with Executive Managing Director Brad Goff, a veteran in the Phoenix multifamily market.

Polachek brings almost 20 years of multifamily sales experience to his new position. He started his brokerage career at CBRE and later joined Cushman & Wakefield’s Multifamily Investment Sales Group as senior director. His tasks there included advising multifamily property owners with acquisition and disposition strategies throughout the Southwestern U.S.

“Brett’s addition is a reflection of our ongoing commitment to bolster the platform nationally. We expect him to be part of robust growth in the southwest region as we continue to gain market share there,” Blake Okland, ARA vice chairman & head of U.S. Multifamily, said in prepared remarks.

Polachek received his MBA from Arizona State University and holds a finance degree from the University of Arizona.
