AMSI Integrates with AMS Utility Billing

Tampa, Fla. And Las Vegas--AMSI today announced a new alliance with American Metering Services, Inc.

Tampa, Fla. And Las Vegas–AMSI today announced a new alliance with American Metering Services, Inc. The alliance brings owners and managers of multifamily residential communities a way to recapture lost utilities revenue, lower the cost of property ownership and conserve natural resources.

Property managers can track, bill and collect for the precise utility usage at the resident level, and through integration to AMSI eSite they have access to a complete and accurate resident ledger that includes utility charges. The system eliminates lost revenue associated with traditional utility cost allocation methods. Property managers have the option of billing directly through the AMSI eSite system along with the resident’s other charges, or utilizing AMS’s billing and collection services.

Statistics show that when residents are not paying a measurable cost for water and sewer, up to 30 percent of their usage is wasted water. “Our solution makes residents responsible—and thus more accountable—for utility usage, which benefits conservation and property management profitability,” says Kirk Downey, CEO and president of AMS.
