Bridge Tower Homes has broken ground on Saddlebrook, a 97-unit single-family rental community in Corinth, Texas, a northern suburb of Dallas. The company is developing the property in partnership with Hankyu Hanshin Properties Corp., an Osaka, Japan-based development specialist.

The houses will be delivered under Bridge Towers’ Westfield Homes brand. Floor plans will range from 1,700 square feet to 2,650 square feet, with prices starting at $385,000, according to Bridge Tower Homes.

The median listing price for houses in Denton County in March 2026 was $455,000, down a little more than 5 percent from March 2025, Realtor.com reports. More houses are spending more days on the market compared with a year earlier, as well.

The Realtors also report that median rent at rental properties in Denton County was down 0.88 percent in March 2026 compared with a year ago, and down a more substantial 17.2 percent compared with three years ago. Since three year ago, the number of residential rental units in the county has more than doubled, as developers worked vigorously to get more supply completed.

George Huang, Co-CEO of Bridge Tower Homes, said in a statement that demand will remain strong, buttressed by population and job growth, and that his company will continue to “continue to expand its investment and development footprint in growth markets through projects like this.”

Developer activity in a softer market

Developers are still active in the north suburban DFW submarket, despite somewhat softer fundamentals. Last month, Bridge Tower started work on Teasley Crossing, a 100-house build-to-rent community in Denton, Texas, with the first residences slated for occupancy as early as September of this year.

Also in March, the company acquired part of a 14-acre site to build The Enclave at Fate Village, a 179-home BTR townhouse community in Fate, Texas, a far northeastern suburb of Dallas. The project is expected to come online in Q1 2027.

Elsewhere in the northern DFW suburbs, Wan Bridge and Centurion American Development Group partnered to develop Frontera Shores Townhomes, a 201-unit built-to-rent project in Lewisville, Texas. Full completion os expected by the end of 2026.
