Wood Partners Breaks Ground On San Antonio Apartments

EIG EuroInvestor is the developer’s capital partner.

Wood Partners has broken ground on the 312-unit Alta Westover Hills, a multifamily development in San Antonio, with EIG EuroInvestor as its capital partner. The property is slated for completion in June 2025.

Alta Westover Hills is on the west side of San Antonio at 10718 State Highway 151, within the master-planned 1,300-acre development of Westover Hills. That community is home to more than 30,000 employees and near a number of retail and entertainment options, such as Alamo Ranch, Culebra Commons, Santikos Entertainment Casablanca and Sea World.

The property features one-, two- and three-bedroom units. Residences will have stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, custom cabinets and full-sized washers and dryers in each unit. Some units will have a private yard.

Alta Westover Hills’ common amenities include a resort-style pool, clubroom, fitness center, business center, conference and entertainment spaces, as well as an outdoor kitchen and dining areas and a dog park. All common areas have wireless connectivity.

Texas experience

The developer has been active in south and central Texas since 2017, with 12 communities in the region, including Alta Westover Hills, totaling 3,460 units. In February, Wood Partners began leasing at Alta Rolling Oaks, another project in San Antonio that will be completed in September.

Wood Partners has been involved in the acquisition and development of more than 100,000 multifamily units since its inception. The company currently owns more than 80 U.S.properties totaling more than 25,000 units.
