ZOM Living broke ground on Kinstead, a 376-unit luxury community in McKinney, Texas. The garden-style property is scheduled for completion in 2019, with pre-leasing expected to begin next summer. Texas Capital Bank provided the construction loan for the upcoming multifamily property.
Located at 5700 McKinney Place Drive, the asset will offer convenient access to Sam Reyburn Tollway U.S. Route 75. The Kinstead, designed by JHP, will sit a few miles from multiple schools, including McGowen Elementary School, Scoggins Middle School and Allen High School. When completed, the project will consist of six three-story buildings. Community amenities will include a fitness center, yoga room, coffee bar and two swimming pools.
The developer selected ZRS Management to lease and manage the upcoming community, while Stanford Construction serves as general contractor. Earlier this year, ZRS Management expanded its property management portfolio with Veridian at Sandy Spring, a 272-unit market-rate community in Atlanta.
“We are excited to break ground on our fifth project in the Dallas market and 10th project overall in Texas,” Greg West, chief development officer of ZOM Living, said in a prepared statement.
