Wood Partners Opens Luxury DFW Community
Independent Bank provided a $24.1 million construction loan.
Wood Partners has opened Alta Landing, a 270-unit luxury community in Kennedale, Texas, one of Dallas-Fort Worth’s top submarkets. The developer broke ground on the project last year, financing its construction with a $24.1 million loan from Independent Bank, Yardi Matrix data shows.
The recently completed property spans 9.2 acres and comprises one-, two- and three-bedroom floorplans ranging from 582 to 1,580 square feet with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, as well as in-unit washers and dryers. Community amenities include a swimming pool with tanning deck, fitness center, Wi-Fi lounge, conference room and dog park.
Alta Landing came online at 3100 N. Joplin Road, some 13 miles southeast of downtown Fort Worth. The community is close to some retail venues, including a Kroger, and numerous dining options along Sublett Road. Highway 287, connecting the property to Interstate 820, is within half a mile east.
Wood Partners’ portfolio currently holds more than 26,000 units in various stages of development across 16 states, according to Yardi Matrix data. The 248-unit Alta Denton Station, another community the firm is developing in the Metroplex, is slated for completion by this fall. The developer also recently celebrated the opening of Alta Raintree, a 330-unit property in Scottsdale, Ariz.
