Wood Partners Opens 250-Unit Atlanta Community
The developer has several other prospective projects in the area.
Wood Partners has opened Alta Bridges, a 250-unit multifamily community in McDonough, Ga., in the Atlanta area. The property is subject to a $29.2 million construction loan from Great Southern Bank with a 2026 maturity date, Yardi Matrix data shows. The property is operated by the developer’s management branch, Wood Residential. Design and architecture services were provided by Dynamik Design and Design Environments.
The property comprises 14 two-, three- and four-story buildings incorporating one-, two- and three-bedroom floorplans which range from 724 to 1,443 square feet. Residences feature in-unit washers and dryers, among other amenities. Common-area amenities include a swimming pool, fitness center, grilling area, coworking lounge, clubhouse and dog park.
Located at 205 Bridges Road, the 24.7-acre property is between Highway 23 and Interstate 75, roughly 30 miles south of Atlanta. It is also within walking distance of central McDonough, as well as other dense concentrations of retail and dining options.
Wood Partners owns two other properties in suburban Atlanta, one still underway, and has an additional three prospective projects, according to Yardi Matrix information. Most recently, the developer broke ground on a 300-unit project near Raleigh, and also opened a community in Winter Garden, Fla., next to Disneyland.
