Wood Partners has started construction on its new 285-unit community in Fort Worth, Texas. Alta Champions Circle will offer high-end units with an average size of 957 square feet, ranging from one to three bedrooms. The project’s amenities will include a resort-style pool with tanning deck and 24/7 high-tech fitness center, neighboring the 18-hole Golf Club at Championship Circle.

Located at 15801 Championship Parkway in northern Fort Worth, adjacent to I-35 and SH 114, the property is expected to benefit from the area’s strong job growth and proximity to large regional employers including Amazon, Charles Schwab, Facebook, FedEx, TD Ameritrade and others. The massive AllianceTexas development which hosts more than 100 companies is also within commuting distance.

“Our vision to bring a new, high-quality residential product at a reasonable price point that is complementary to the booming office, industrial and retail growth that’s occurring in the North Fort Worth submarket,” said Ryan Miller, managing director for Wood Partners in North Texas, in prepared remarks.

Wood Partners likes Texas

Wood Partners currently owns 63 properties across the U.S. with a total of more than 17,000 homes. The company has been active in Forth Worth and elsewhere in Texas in recent months. The latest groundbreaking comes after Wood Partners opened its Alta Waterside community in Fort Worth, offering 361 units at 3964 Watercourse Drive last October.

Wood Partners broke ground on its 288-unit project Alta 289 in the Dallas suburb of Plano last week, after opening its new 260-unit community Alta at Mercer Crossing in Farmers Branch, also in the Dallas area, earlier this month.

Over in Houston, the company kicked off construction on the 338-unit Alta Med Main community, in January.
