Wilson, Blanchard Management Inc. Improves Operational Efficiency with Yardi Voyager Condo
Yardi announced today that full-service property management company Wilson, Blanchard Management Inc. has improved process automation, data protection and reporting capabilities since adopting Yardi Voyager® Condo.
Santa Barbara, Calif.—Yardi announced today that full-service property management company Wilson, Blanchard Management Inc. has improved process automation, data protection and reporting capabilities since adopting Yardi Voyager® Condo, a complete online solution for managing condominiums, as its new property management and accounting platform.
Protecting client data and upgrading Wilson, Blanchard’s ability to provide timely financial information to clients were the company’s main criteria in selecting a new technology platform. “We spent more than a year researching various property management software alternatives and concluded that Voyager was the most effective system for serving our clients,” said Jeff Lack, manager of financial reporting for Wilson, Blanchard. “Voyager is a solution designed specifically for condominium management. Its single, integrated database lets us provide accurate and timely financial information to our clients with data integrity and information security. It became clear as we conducted extensive market research on property management platforms that competing developers could not match Yardi’s years of experience and knowledge.”
Lack added, “Voyager significantly decreases our data access times, allowing our staff to handle day-to-day inquiries more quickly and manage daily processes more efficiently. It eliminates report queues and staff wait time. Yardi also provided additional best practices to help our end-users apply the software to its fullest potential.”
The Yardi Voyager Condo solution automatically calculates percentage-based fees, tracks ownership changes and transfers scheduled charges. One-time charges are also calculated automatically, freeing Wilson, Blanchard from manually assessing retroactive fee changes or creating special assessment charges. Security is enforced with multiple levels of privileges and permissions.
Wilson, Blanchard, whose portfolio includes 32,400 units at 483 condominium properties, is one of the first new clients to adopt Yardi Voyager® 7S, a browser-independent, mobile-enabled SaaS platform.
Wilson, Blanchard’s implementation of Yardi Voyager was performed by the Yardi Professional Services Group (Yardi PSG). “Yardi PSG provided experts in every area of our business and Voyager. By making sure everybody was on the same page and worked toward the same goals, they ensured the success of the project while allowing us to continue our day-to-day activities during this major change,” Lack said.
“Yardi was pleased to work closely with Wilson, Blanchard to get their staff up and running on the new system with a minimal learning curve for their users,” said Peter Altobelli, vice president and general manager of Yardi’s Canadian operations.
