Houston—The Retreat at Riverstone, a new luxury rental community in the heart of Sugar Land, Texas, is now leasing. The 249-unit apartment and town home community from Houston-based Allied-Orion Group is the first multifamily property to be completed in the Riverstone master planned community.

Situated at 18545 University Boulevard in Sugar Land, the community offers one- and two-bedroom luxury apartment homes featuring inspired Mediterranean design. Another option for renters is an exclusive townhome that is the first of its kind in Sugar Land. The three-bedroom townhome option offers attached garages and living space of 1,500 to 1,700 square feet.

Among the features and finishes of the apartments are granite countertops, stainless steel kitchen appliances, plank wood flooring, expansive walk-in closets and private patios or balconies.

Common-area amenities include a resort-style pool with beach entry, state-of-the-art wellness and fitness center, grilling areas, recreation areas, two dog parks, sophisticated resident lounge, billiards room and cyber café with Wi-Fi.

The convenient location of the Retreat at Riverstone just 25 miles south of downtown Houston promises to appeal to many future residents. The upscale development offers excellent proximity via freeways to Houston-area employers such as Minute Maid Corporation, Schlumberger, Texas Instruments, Fluor Corporation and St. Luke‘s, Memorial Hermann and Methodist hospitals.

The home of the Sugar Land Skeeters minor league baseball team, Constellation Field, is a short distance away, as are University of Houston Sugar Land Campus and Wharton County Junior College.

Zoned to top-rated Fort Bend schools, the Retreat at Riverstone is also near parkland, walking and hiking trails, retail venues, restaurants and nightlife.

The financing for the Retreat at Riverstone was arranged by Capital One.

“We are pleased to have both developed and to be managing the first high-end, luxury apartment and townhome community in Riverstone,” said Kirk Tate, principal of Allied-Orion Group, a full-service multifamily management, investment and development firm.

“[We are] happy to have a strong presence in one of the nation‘s best places to live. Maintaining the integrity of the top-notch building requirements set forth by the master-planned community and the National Green Building Standards was our top priority.”
